Journaling: Things move pretty fast around this house. There aren’t many moments of peace and quiet. But every once in a while you guys will just sit. Take a moment and do nothing. Nothing but relax and regroup. They don’t happen very often, but I enjoy ever one of these quiet moments.

My Great Grandmaw Lily was one of the last of a great generation. She wore old fashioned dresses and sunbonnets and spent many many hours quilting. She passed away when I was 8 years old but before then she made matching twin-sized quilts for me and my little sister's beds. They're bright and colorful and full of tiny squares made of polyester since she used scraps from clothes made during the 70's. I will treasure them always and remember her every time I use them
