Many apologies for the jam-packed prompts - we're trying to get back on schedule here at the Hodge Podge! While you're working on your Q page you can go ahead and knock out an R page, right? You bet!

Here's my page, my obsession with reality television is well documented - so it was a no brainer for this prompt.

like most people i find it hard to list my own attributes. we all tend to be very self-critical and i'm certainly no different. one thing i can say about myself though is that i'm very reliable. most people who know me are aware that they count on me to get it done...whatever "it" may be. i'm the perfect person to be designated "tasks" which means i find myself much more often being a "follower" rather than a "leader" in situations..but that's okay with me...i like the feeling of accomplishment that comes with whatever i do...and I like knowing that people feel they can count on me.

My Great Grandmaw Lily was one of the last of a great generation. She wore old fashioned dresses and sunbonnets and spent many many hours quilting. She passed away when I was 8 years old but before then she made matching twin-sized quilts for me and my little sister's beds. They're bright and colorful and full of tiny squares made of polyester since she used scraps from clothes made during the 70's. I will treasure them always and remember her every time I use them

Journaling: Poor little Jack. He looks so pathetic in this picture. This was the second day we had him. We brought him to a groomer to shave off all that matted, mangy, urine-smelling hair. But they couldn’t finish the job. He got too aggressive with them when they got to his face so he was left with ridiculous eye-brows and a goatee. Without
his hair you could really see how skinny he was. It makes me furious to think about how they were mistreating him. He has been a handful but I’m so glad we rescued him.

Journaling: Oh how you love your "pappy"! We always called it "pacie" when Avery was a baby but since you started talking, you've called it your "pappy" and it's stuck. At 20 mos I try not to let you have it except when you're sleeping but whenever you find one you pop it in your mouth and it's
so cute I can't hardly stand to take it away. You've got to where you actually chew on it more than anything else and so most of them are flat and useless but you love them anyway. The funniest thing is that you have about 4 in your crib with you whenever you go to bed and you lull yourself to sleep by switching them out every few minutes. It's so cute and your Daddy and I can even hear you swapping your Pappies over the baby monitor. We took Avery's away when he was 2 1/2 and I'm sure we'll do the same with you but I'm not looking forward to that day because you love your Pappy so much!

Hi everyone! Gabi's here today with journaling prompt challenge. How is everyone doing? We are having here a very last day of summer before school starts tomorrow so we are going to enjoy the day all together.

I'm a huge fan of Elise's work so when I saw here simple goals post I knew that I will do a list of mine as well. And here goes the challenge for you today. Scrap about your simple goals for the rest of the year. Our Hodge Podge team did their homework as well :)
