JOURNALING: in school i was always kind of a nerd. i remember i never had my mom bugging me about doing my homework because i would just do it after school before i did anything else.

i remember being in high school and being in all the a.p. classes i could be in. my goal was to get over a 4.0 so that i could be one of the valedictorians. then i moved back to utah for my senior year of high school and i remember that the only required class i had to take was english. i filled my schedule with easy and fun classes. i spent a lot of my senior year having fun, skipping classes and enjoying my friends. i still was a good student, but i finally lost a bit of the nerdiness.

Journaling: At 36, I'm starting to feel it. Aging...4 years from the big 4-0. It's so hard to believe that so many years have gone by so quickly. It's nice to be able to look back on my life so far and be content. To know that I'm right where I'm supposed to be...right where I want to be. My life is far from perfect but it's mine and I love every minute of it.

journal: i love taking naps with my cat. all i have to do is get her favorite blanket, whistle for her and she'll curl up right next to me and snooze the time away. it's so peaceful and comforting.

Journaling: I feel like I say it all the time,. no. no running in the house, no eating
downstairs, no you can’t ride your bike without a helmet, even if you
get sweaty, no yelling, no playing with my camera without asking
no sneaking Popsicles from the fridge, and many many more. Sometimes
I wonder if you’ll remember all the times I’ve said yes because it feels like no
comes out of my mouth so much more often. Just remember that I love you and that's usually where the no comes from.
