{Celebration of Memories}

Hi fellow scrappers!  Rachel here with a new challenge.  I hope you're all enjoying beautiful spring weather (andautumn weather for our friends WAAAY down south).  Since Memorial Day (in the US) is almost upon us, I'd like us to take a look at someone you remember.  It could be someone who has passed away that was important to you, a lost friend/friendship, or a lost pet.  Just scrap someone you miss. Someone who's leaving changed you in some way. Scrap your best memory or your favorite thing about them. Make it a celebration of that person/pet and what they meant to you!
Here's some inspiration to help get you started!

I love this picture because it shows Vana doing what
she does best. She is an amazing Grandma and
an inspirational mother. I am forever a changed
person for her life having touched mine. I feel
so blessed to have found the man of my dreams, and
also to have known the woman that shaped him into
who he is before I knew he was what I was looking
for. Thank you, Vana. Thank you for showing me
such an example of motherhood, of love, and of life.
I love you. I miss you. I look forward to the day
I will see you again.

My challenge is to include a quotation as a prominent part of your page design, maybe as the title or heavily featured in the journaling. Or you could go to town and create your own wordart or patterned paper using your chosen wording. The phrase you choose could be a great piece of advice that was shared with you, a meaningful quote from a poem or song lyrics or even part of a wedding vow. Or it could simply be a child's funny saying that you want to remember!
