And now for my first ever challenge! I hope this inspires you to play along and get scrapping!

PAUSE: remember the little things
This time of year can be so busy with preparations, activities and everything else the holiday season has to offer! Finding time to get creative can be tricky and even if you do manage to grab yourself a moment, recording the holiday season can be so intimidating and overwhelming. Before we all start to look to the future and a new year, new start and new resolutions, I’d like you to try and capture something of the here and now by concentrating on the little things. Instead of trying to record the whole season or a large event, I’d like you to focus on one small aspect. Maybe it could be a favourite festive recipe, a funny quote from your kids, a new decoration, a party outfit or your child’s first snowman.

Whatever “little thing” you chose to scrap, have fun and enjoy this most wonderful time of the year!

We all know that the size of the elements on your page play a big role in the design and impact. And while going bigger can certainly be impactful, going smaller can be just as interesting. So, this challenge is about scaling down all/some of the elements on your page (i.e. photos, titles, and/or embellishments, etc). It's totally up to you on how you interpret this and what elements you want to scale down! And remember, just because elements or photos are small, doesn't mean you can't layer them on the page! 

 

Have fun! And remember, when you have completed your layout, upload it to your favorite online gallery and come back here and link us up in the comments section below.
