My Many Colored Days

I am so excited to be a hodge podge gal. I feel so incredibly blessed to get to work with these many talented girls. I hope you all enjoy this weeks challenge.

I recently checked out this book from our local library.

It has quickly become a household favorite.
Here are the words from the inside! (it's short! teeheehee)

Some days are yellow.
Some are blue.
On different days
I'm different too.

You'd be surprised
how many ways
I change
on different
Colored Days.

On Bright Red Days
how good it feels
to be a horse
and kick my heels!

On other days I'm other things.
On Bright Blue Days
I flap my wings.

Some days, of course,
feel sort of Brown.
Then I feel slow
and low, low down.

The comes a Yellow Day.
And, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I am a busy, buzzy bee.

Gray Day...
Everything is gray.
I watch. But
nothing moves today.

Then
all of a sudden
I'm a circus seal!
On my Orange Days
that's how I feel.

Green days.
Deep deep
in the sea.
Cool and quiet fish.
That's me.

On Purple Days
I'm sad.
I groan.
I drag my tail.
I walk alone.

But when my days
are Happy Pink
it's great to jump
and just not think.

Then come my Black Days.
Mad. And loud.
I howl.
I growl at every cloud.

Then comes a Mixed-Up Day.
And WHAM!
I don't know
who
or
what
I am!

But it all
turns out all right,
you see.
And I got back
to being.....
me.

Isn't that JUST AMAZING!! The book, the words, the meaning and OHMYGOSH the paintings are FABULOUS!!!!

The pictures are what have inspired this challenge..

So here's the challenge:
Find a picture (or group of pictures...I don't care)
And scrap YOUR mood-or the mood portrayed by the photos.
And yup, you've got it, choose a COLOR! Just one (unless it's a Mixed Up day! ROFL)
and use that as the MAIN color on your layout.

Hey there, Ang popping in with last weeks winner. It was so good to see you all and I enjoyed every layout posted! This comment pretty much summed up why I wanted to do this challenge in the first place: "I probably would not have included this photo of me in the collage, but your prompt made me realize how important I am!
